Right now, the students are busy drawing and putting up posters, handing out flyers and collecting books for the sale Tuesday.
Anyone wishing to donate books 10 years old or newer and movies rated no higher than PG-13 can drop them off at the LCS Middle School office, eighth grader Blake Beitelspacher said.
Tuesday's sale will be from 3:30 to 7 p.m. in the LCS Middle School Commons.
The sale is open to everyone.
The group of students plans to work in shifts to cover the sale.
Children's books will be 50 cents, paperback books $1 and hardcover books $2. VHS movies will be $1 and DVDs will be $2.
All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross.
"We could raise between $500 and $1,000," said eighth grader Josie Brownmiller. "That's a lot of money."
