City Connection: New librarian takes charge at Canyon Lake Library Anna Fox has been around books most of her adult life. For years the Fontana resident helped managed bookstores in the Crown Books and Borders chains. But she says it wasn’t until recently she found her true calling working in libraries. This month Anna was named branch manager of the recently expanded Canyon Lake Library.
She has worked in the Riverside County Library system for three years, most recently in Sun City. She graduated in December with a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State. She sees a library as an extremely valuable community resource, especially in tough economic times and a technology-driven world.
